Why we focus more on financial Success as Success in General

An interesting phenomenon to think about, success for most of us is rooted in monetary gains. I don’t know for sure if this is healthy or not, I guess it all depends upon your viewpoint in life. I am not saying this is my view at all, but I have seen this to be the case but what I can say is that financial success has trapped me into thinking I need to accomplish this aspect of success to feel satisfy with life. I don’t if you can relate or I explain that properly.

Even though the overall frame of success should be shaped by mental success, health, spiritual, financial and physical. It just seems that financial success holds weight when it comes to it impact on success in general. Let’s say your spiritual persons, you feel anointed but struggle to pay your bills every month,

living check to check, praying that no emergency arises. Even though you believe in God there will be times that depression will hit you maybe not as deep but it will manifest in your prayers. However, being fully subjective here, to serve God, YES there will be periods which this maybe the case but I would like to hold God accountable, at the same time faith without work is death.

Even when it comes to our health, we still need to be in a position to take care ourselves by buying the best food to consume, whether it is going to the gym or investing in a home gym. However, in such a situation you need to know what you would want to prioritize. Some persons might desire those things but wouldn’t make the investment because they’re not in the position to or even if they can squeeze it in. They might prefer not to, just for the simple fact that they would prefer to be more financially secure. Likewise, your situation doesn’t improve but you can squeeze it in but wouldn’t then you’re sacrificing your health base on financial success which links back to the fact that we sometime value it more over our HEALTH. You may beg to differ to bring up different points but at the end of the day you’re still not making the investment to, health wise.

The only aspect of success that can make us work harder to attain financial success because we would like that aspect to be successful would be our mental success. The reason I say this is because, let’s say you’re miserable with where you are in life, then I believe you would want to work your way out of that. I know this wouldn’t apply to everyone because some people just stay in the same position but if you truly want to achieve certain things in life. I believe you should be on the grind.

Remember the focus of this piece is on why we sometimes focus on financial success as success in general, there are many other points that can be argue when it comes to looking at this statement.
