One of the best time of the year to ensure you have a financial budget is around the Christmas season. I would like to think the reason is very simple. However the season has become such a economic grab, it can trap you into spending more than you had planned to. some of the best method is of course creating a list and then setting aside the require finance for that list, this list now allows you to go over the things you would really need.

I think the most important thing around this time is to live within your means, Yes, I know it might be hard and especially being carried away into wanting something more. The reality of the situation is, that you need to understand and appreciate the position that you’re in. This simple skill is key to your development. okay, let’s say you have a family of 4, wife, husband and 2 children, around this time depending on the age the priority would be to purchase a gift for the children. If the gift they request, you wouldn't be able to afford, the decent thing in this situation would be to think of something that would be of value to them within your budget. If the case is that, the very thing they need would benefit them, I am speaking in this case if your child thinks in this manner and not just a toy but say a camera because they would like to take up vlogging. As a parent, you can cut back on something except food, if its either decorations, which may not add to much, but there must be something. The value comes since you’re investing into your child for the future.

likewise, the greatest financial budget would be investing in creating an extraordinary memory. like the example above, I would rather not buy anything other than invest in ensuring a wide variety of food is on the table with the love of games, stories and movies. I mention this base on the culture in which I live. Every year end you can find persons doing some sort of home renovation, the most popular is repainting the house. They have an urge of buying new window curtains, mats etc. I am not saying this is wrong, if you can totally afford it, who am I to say you shouldn’t but I am just focusing on those situations such as why invest in such if it results in you struggling in the days after, spending out an entire month paycheck when you can invest in things that are more meaningful.

There’s more I can add to this but to keep it short I'll stop here.

Blessings upon this season to you.
